How ETIX will work?
Road map
The evolution of ETIX is expected as follows:
- Forming the basic concept, developing the site, setting up categories and compiling the questionnaries.
- Starting the Test version in which we will evaluate some well-known companies to test the concept in vivo.
- Launching the site with full functionality. Finding site admins and local partners to run local sites.
- Setting up Auditing standards and recruiting local staff.
- Starting Auditions, publishing results. Compiling reports every year.
ETIX/VOP — Voice of People
This is the index made upon user surveys. As first step we will run a poll on which company to choose next time. Then a forum admin will prepare the company's fact sheet and launch the company's own thread. Then forum members can add their comments in the thread, and can fill in the questionnary. They can modify it later at any point. The questionnary will contain detailed help on each question and will have research links. For each question you can select "I don't know" or "Not applicable" too. The reults will be weighted to filter out the old sheets and the strongly biased ones. We will add (based on the number of registered users) only one-two new companies a week to let people enough time to think and admins to be able to manage the posts.
ETIX/AUD — Audited index
The Audited index is based on audited data, compiled by experts. This index should reflect the real and comparable costs and risks on third parties of the given company. The index is made only for those companies they request it, and provide auditors all the necessary information. If funds allow we will add the possibility of free auditing for selected companies, but basically the auditing is not going to be free. (We don't want to make profit on this, but we need to pay the experts.)
